Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative, senior UX/UI developers to be part of our team and create excellent applications to delight our customers! We’d like to hear from people that share our passion and who can help drive this forward. You’ll be instrumental to the success of the team as we constantly improve our customer experiences, through our applications and services.
This is an exciting role as we establish a new centre of excellence, in Glasgow. We’re focused on building highly effective, cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and support our innovative Banking-as-a-Service platform.
The role will work on a hybrid model, with one day per week in the Glasgow office working alongside the team.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with product owners and BAs to produce exceptional customer experiences
- Agile evangelist – help shape and improve how we work
- Follow secure and scalable development processes
- Work with stakeholders to refine, size and improve user stories
- Deliver creative solutions to satisfy user, performance, and security requirements to agreed test criteria
- Investigate, assess, and promote the use of new technologies where relevant
- Collaborate with developers on software requirements and standards
- Analyse application performance to improve the user experience
- Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Assist and contribute to incident resolution as required
Experience
Essential
- 5+ years of web development
- Solid experience working with Vue.js
- Proficient coding experience in JavaScript, along with HTML5, CSS3
- Strong comprehension of responsive design & frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material UI, Foundation)
- Experience working with APIs
- Knowledge of component driven Front End development
- Familiarity with JS build systems
- Familiarity with Vuetify and Vue Test Utils
- Familiarity with Typescript
